The aim of the project was to implement an information system that will be the main place for order management and its connection to the Shoptet e-shop. Due to the problematic connection of the Shoptet e-shop to the warehouse records, the warehouse management remains in Shoptet. Order processing and invoicing will be moved to HELIOS. Shoptet does offer an API, but it is very expensive. We avoided using the API and solved the loading of orders into HELIOS by loading the order confirmation emails that Shoptet sends. Similarly, imports of incoming orders and changes to orders that the customer can make before invoicing are also linked. We monitor payments for orders with the transfer payment type by retrieving email payment notifications from the bank. HELIOS automatically invoices paid orders.
After childhood illnesses, this system has been fairly well tuned.
A great advantage is that HELIOS Easy handles the VAT obligations in Slovakia, where ACmobile also operates its e-shop. The system is also ready to support e-shops in other countries.
The change of the system took place during the year. The accounting agenda was transferred without any problems.
